What are the Peeps up to these days?

Where have we been & what have we been doing? I apologize that I haven't been updating the blog as quickly as I was... We have been very busy.... as people with MSC {many small children} often are...

Rest assured, you are not forgotten.. we think of you.. and we try .. we try .. to get these pictures on here as fast as we can...I love to show them off!

We enjoyed a weekend with Brandon & took him back to school :(

11 months

How can this precious baby be just 30 days away from her 1st Birthday? It just doesn't seem possible. {Gasp}... It's been a wonderful, whirlwind of activity, ups & down, changes, and with all of that.. there are always these besutiful eyes looking at me! What a blessing!

Chloe...

can sleep all night.. and sometimes does...

eats...grated cheese, soft boiled chicken, peas, loves yogurt ( except blueberry )... sucks on apple slices, gums cucumbers, loves toast with or without cinnamon, eats... cheerios... alot! Doesn't care for juice....

still trying to get used to a sippy cup

fascinated with the boys sippys

loves to get in your highchair .. and eat...

loves to look out the windows...

crawls everywhere

very quickly

standing and cruising.. just a little

Jacob & Chloe..

Here we go...Wednesday... Ethan goes to speech, while I take the younger two to our favorite hangout in the world.... YAY!!

Everywhere he goes, Jacob must have books....in the car, to bed.. always needs not 1, not 2, sometimes 3... and even 4 books.. I love this.. I am like this...
He loves to run the aisles. A great window shopper. He looks so little. Love the red socks . His favorite sock color of all. Gotta love it!

Hello there pretty Chloe... Loves to watch the Ice Skaters. 3 stories below. Every time. He stands ... and watches them. Brian & think he may play hockey...Center.. he likes to move alot... might take him skating soon... we should... I'll post pictures when we do :)
This was at home.. yesterday... but.. I think it's so cute.. so I posted it..love those wide eyes!
She's ready! She's gettin' so big in the stroller... where's that teeny tiny baby I used to carry in a sling all the time? That's her. She grew.. so big.. but still... so little... only 16 tiny lbs....Petite Princess...
Does this kid know what to do when he see's the camera or what? { wonder where he learned that? LOL...}

Jacob ( and Ethan ) both love to wash their hands..
and where was Ethan? He was in class.. speech.. with Miss Amanda.. and a couple friends.. they had so much fun this week.. they painted apples and leaves.. made a tree.. danced & sang ....went to gym...played with a big ball...he has a good time on Wednesdays as well....

Praying for ANOTHER baby Chloe...

I was directed to this blog by Kelly, over at Kelly's Korner. This is a young couple, the Sullivans who have been married for 5 years. I'm not absolutely sure of all the details but she had breast cancer during her pregnancy. She ended up having to have an emergency c-section this week and soon after they got home started seizing. She is now on life support and they may have announced her brain dead. They have a brand new baby Chloe. I just keep thinking about this young guy that may not only have to grieve the love of his life but will be left with a brand new baby. I can't imagine. Please pray. (Since I wrote this - she has gone on to be with Jesus). This young husband REALLY needs your prayers.

I have read almost all of the blog and this womans Faith & courage are amazing! I too, have a baby girl, also named Chloe and I simply am in tears thinking of this child who has already lost a mother.. a mother who worked so hard to have this child.. and this poor husband... who must carry on..

You can see the Love, Faith, and Joy just leap of the page when you read her story. The pictures of the couple, together, with their baby...for just a few days... will remind you... of what really matters... how fragile life really is and how much we have to be grateful for today.

Please take a minute to read this story...and say a prayer for this new father.

~Catching up with the Peeps ~

I apologize that I didn't do a single post all weekend.. I honestly just left it alone..and played. Brandon had Monday out of school, so we had an extra night.. YAY... gotta love that! Pooh hasn't been feeling well, tummy troubles.. we are treating now and hope our little girl feels better soon.... It finally stopped raining.. and the boys were able to play outside for a bit.

The bigger boys got to rent the new XMEN movie ( those Red Box movie rentals are the coolest things... gotta love a brand new movie for $1.00! )

As you can see, Pooh is standing.. and ready to take off...literally any day now.. Sharing a moment with her Big Brandon... { she's a grabber...watch out }... no glasses or older brothers were injured during the making of this post...

Hehehe....I love this....

and...this little guy.. who is doing sooo well in the potty training... he has really taken to his underwear....hehe

Come eat with Chloe..

As she gets older...our little Pooh is eating more & more...in fact, Chloe loves to eat! A tray full of Cheerios makes her day! Recently she has branched out and has tried more new foods..

Here she is trying out her fancy new Pink Princess Sippy Cup...she's still trying to get the hang of the whole "sippy cup" idea...but she does like it! { Jacob is fascinated by it....hehe }

Chloe is learning about the wide world of "Puffs"... she is chowing down on the Banana flavored Puffs here...

last night I made a new chicken recipe with red potatoes & green beans...as you can see.. Pooh was delighted with green beans & potatoes...she ate alot!!! { thank you , Harper's mommy @ Kelly's Korner for the awesome recipe!! }

Chloe's Post Surgical Visit... Rain.. Stairs & ABR's

Who could not resist this face? Today, Pooh & I were up & out the door {in the pouring rain...again} Early for an 8 am post surgery appointment. We were literally the 1st ones there and Pooh had so much fun in the waiting area...

This is actually a picture I took of Jacob yesterday, that missed the blog last night... he grabbed my camera and was trying to take pictures..LOL.. the battery had died { thank God for camera phones, right} and as you can see, he needs to work on the technique a bit {ehem}... hehe... he had great fun telling me to "say cheez"

As some of you are aware... it has Rained for 6 days now... wow! .. I am so happy about the cooler temps.. feels fabulous.. Ethan had some fun watching all the rain this afternoon...

~ Now, back to pooh's post surgical appointment.. .she looks Perfect.. the ears & stitches.. are perfect.. she will use steroid breathing treatments if she gets sick again ( like last year ) if it gets really bad, they will go back in and "trim some of the extra skin around her esophogus {sp} away..:(..."

Chloe flunked her Pre Surgery hearing test and we have a history of severe hearing loss on my side ( my mom ) so they really look at my babies ears... they tried another hearing test today and Chloe wanted nothing to do with it... it also is not absolutely clear if she may have a slight hearing loss... as a result... we are having a sedated ABR in the near future {I will have to let you know the date as soon as I am aware }... we did one of these with Ethan, while we were trying to rule out everything else on the road to diagnosing his aprexia. An ABR is a hearing test...very detailed and they do it under sedation... it's very helpful in the little ones, as they don't always cooperate...even knowing all of that..
