It's still hard to believe
Chloe is 1. ... wow!
It's also hard to believe that 1 year ago tomorrow... our Chloe was medically transported, by ambulance to the NICU downtown.. we were terrified.. I don't think I will ever forget that entire few days.. but our precious Pooh is the picture of super cute health now and we are sooo grateful for her! Chloe loves to climb on just about everything.. that girl is constantly moving.. today she crawled {somehow} on top of this box of toys and just doesn't seem that happy about it! ha! I She was actually smiling right before I took this pic & nope... no smiley.. I rescued the Princess & she was just fine after a cuddle!

And... here is that Chloe Smile we all love ♥

I am now making...chloe's very 1st Birthday cake.. allergy free, for Jacob of course...but hopefully good & really pretty!

A Pooh turns 1...

It's official... yes...it's true...I checked the date again this morning..and...

Chloe is 1 ~~ She is the Birthday Princess!


We are stunned at how fast this year sped by... so many wonderful & sweet moments & memories with our little Pooh.


How do you celebrate....when she is born so close to Halloween... and no one got to do anything last year since the then brand new baby Chloe was in NICU?

And then...

as if that's not enough fun...

we took them for birthday treats....

French Fries & Ice Cream Cones....

{ these are real treats in my house....ask the boys...hehe}

where's her cake you ask? well.... there is a little bitty party of sorts.. nothing big...we don't do "friend" parties until they are old enough to ask.. hehe {meanies that we are}...

anyways...

the cake will be at the so called -party - get together... this weekend...

it's going to be white...with .. ummm..a surprise...

so today,

Chloe had Ice Cream..

she liked it... she made the funniest face from it being sooo cold...ha!

and then...

we went home..

and a tired Pooh

took a long nap....

After she woke up...
and had dinner
and a bath...
she opened presents...
or rather...
we helped her to open presents...
she loved the present that wasn't wrapped
and the gift bag the most...hahah!

Most of the decorations are for this weekend...but I just had to get her this Princess Balloon .. isn't it just perfect?!
All in all...my little Pooh had a very good 1st birthday... Mommy was the 1st person to sing her Happy Birthday...ha! And, I sang it to her a bunch... the boys really enjoyed Chloe's birthday...It was just right...just enough.. and she had fun... she smiled & laughed & enjoyed all the special things we did. I still can't believe Chloe is 1! It seems like earlier today that they said "It's a Girl....and I said.. "what?!".. I never thought I would be missing anything if I never had a girl.. I was wrong! I spent a year learning all about the sweet little girls and it has made me love my boys...boyishness even more. Chloe has brought joy & happiness to this family. Everyone dotes on her & loves to help care for her. I have so many little special memories from this past year... and so grateful for them & hope that this next year is even better!

Happy (almost) Birthday Pooh!!

Yes, it's true...less than two hours from now.. as I type this.. Chloe... will be 1!
Last year, when I was handed my very 1st girl, a daughter.. I was so amazed. I actually asked my Dr...( who has delivered many boys for me) "what do I do with her?" - he laughed, and told me to just take her home, and love her...just like I did the boys...the rest would come. I was sure there was more... but nontheless, I brought home my tiny bundle and then rushed to NICU - where I learned how long I could sit in 1 place ( 13 hours).. .. and I dreamed.. of pink, teddy bears, chloe, Pooh, Cinderella.. and I brought my baby girl home - again. I learned, about ruffles, bows, hair clippies, Pink...Girlie things.. the boys learned too! It's been fun!

Mom just told me I was going to be 1 tomorrow!! What? OMG!! Why didn't anyone tell me this was going to happen? What should I wear?

Mom told me I am getting some of my own toys so I am not always playing with the boys cars & trains... I LIKE the boys cars & trains!

Fine, if this is what you want.. I will go... and turn 1... but I would really appreciate a day without that flash going off in my face, ok mom? Is that too much to ask?!

The boys would love them!

the scooters sat on our back porch now...

out of sight...

still waiting

for 2 little boys...

Finally
Today..
Everyone was feeling better
{or well enough}
it wasn't raining
and we couldn't
wait another minute..
we took the boys out front...
while Brian sneaked around to the back...
and

on the boys faces
when they saw

Pure joy!
O, they were soooo happy!

They are actually both fairly good at riding them
Ethan is the best
Jacob tips sometimes
but gets right back up
he also LOVES to just pick his scooter up & carry it around {giggle}

PS.. I think the scooters are happy now.. all toys need to be loved...heheh

A beautiful Day!

It was...a good day... we stayed home.. no Brandon :-( .. we stayed IN.. {mostly}.. we relaxed, played & continued to get over all the sickness...:-) ....
We watched Peter Pan .. for the very 1st time {for the kids, hehe}....
In the afternoon.. the winds died down.. just enough.. to venture outside... for just long enough.. to cature these beautiful pictures of a Pooh {and her brothers}...

Halloweens Past...

Before we all got sick...

You may have noticed.. that I hadn't been to our favorite playspace in awhile.. one of my favorite days of the week, used to be Wednesday.. I would drop Ethan off at Speech & speed up the road to out fave place...where Jacob was the older brother...for a little bit...hehe

Monday, we were able to get back... and as a treat we were able to bring Daddy along for the ride!

This is actually that afternoon... we are all starting to feel sick but Chloe just wanted to be outside for a bit...hehe Looking Down and showing us where he wants to go...

She is really good at these little wall puzzles...hehehe
