Stairs,Big Ol Eyes, and Bare Feet

Jacob figured out how to go UP the stairs right when we moved in last year but it took until now for his to go DOWN them..here you see his time proven method...hehe...

Feet? What? These are ETHAN'S BAREFEET!! Really. For those of you that are aware some of Ethans delays are sensory related and we have battled the {shoes} for several years... He will only wear certain types of shoes...Crocs, AquaSocks, Slippers and other types like that... he has HATED to be barefoot and ALWAYS has to have socks AND shoes on... recently, I got him some sandals, made by Crocs and he took them right away... and then I took shoes away at bathtime... then no shoes at naptime.. on a rainy day a few weeks ago ... NO ONE wore shoes all day.. { even the adults }.... there has been a little resistance, but Ethan has adjusted to each thing a little at a time. He has a "shoe shelf" where he and Jacob put there shoes up now and also has adapted to wearing his sandals without socks.. Today, Ethan played for a bit..BAREFOOT...a decision he made, all by himself!! We are sooo proud of this little man.. he keeps learning.. One Step At A Time.. (LOL)
